Return to Misty Moorings Dispatch 3

Having had a successful check ride with the USFS pilot that inspects the cabins, you've been asked if you'd like to stay on another day and help him inspect the Ketchikan Area USFS Cabins. You don't hesitate to take him up on the offer! You meet him at Misty's Place, ready for a great day of flying, beautiful scenery, and a little hard work along the way. The pilot (you) sets the heading of 320. You will fly for 22 miles in that direction to arrive at the Helm Bay Cabin. Buckle up ... your "work day" (pure fun!) is beginning.

Start at Misty's Place, final destination Misty's Place with eight stops between.  They are:

Helm Bay cabin

Jordan Lake cabins 1&2

Heckman Lake cabin

SE Heckman Lake cabin

Patching Lake cabin

Fish Creek cabin

Phocena Bay cabin

The mission begins at Misty's Place in front of the hangars. Be sure to enable changes to the mission.  You need an amphibian for this one.

Navigation

Follow the compass, arrows, and GPS. Altitude should be below 1000 feet, with an airspeed of 150 knots.

The route has been programmed into the GPS (press SHIFT+3 to display/hide).  Follow the compass and pointers to each destination.  There is no hurry, you can stay at each location as long as you want.  No time limits.  When you're ready to go, just taxi away from the dock or shoreline and the mission will resume.

Pull up to each cabin, and stop in front of the cabin. Leave the area to continue to the next cabin.
